RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -
Franklin County Investigators confirmed Tuesday two men were arrested after they found 92 meth labs in one home.
Both Sheriff Shannon Oliver and one of his investigators said this is the largest number of meth labs they've ever recovered from one location.
Donald Wayne Clark Jr. faces 92 counts of manufacturing a controlled substance. His cousin, Billy Wayne Clark, is also behind bars for 20 counts of manufacturing a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance.
Investigators said this all started more than a week ago, after they received reports of someone cooking meth at a home on Highway 43 North in Russellville.
When deputies first went to check it out, they say no one was home, but they found a one-pot meth lab on the property, so they went and got a search warrant.
When they returned, they found 92 additional one-pot meth labs inside one of the homes on the property.
Donald Clark Jr. is being held on a $25,000 bond. Billy Clark is being held on a $12,000.
Sheriff Oliver credits both his Sheriff's Department and the Franklin County DTF for the arrests as well as the citizens who called in the tips.
