HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Friday night, the Village of Providence will honor actor and comic Robin Williams with their free Friday movie.

Mrs. Doubtfire will begin at 8 p.m. Organizers decided to show one of Williams' most popular films as a tribute to his work.

Williams was found dead in his California home on Monday. All week his fans showed their love and respect for Williams on social media. Friday night's showing of Mrs. Doubtfire offers fans here in our area the chance to remember the beloved actor by celebrating his life.

Again, the movie starts at 8 p.m. in the park in Providence. Get there early for family-friendly music starting at 6:30 p.m.
