HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Do not mess with these boys and girls - they know Kung-fu.

Tough with their fists and steady with their nerves, they are students from Burwell's Martial Arts in Huntsville. The group is coming home from national competition with a lot of hardware. 16 athletes from all age groups won 13 medals in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. One young lady even made the Junior National Team.

The man behind their success is Grandmaster Otis Burwell, who has coached numerous young men and women through the years in the Tennessee Valley.

One of his more prolific graduates is former Columbia High School student, SEC player and Arkansas Razorback, Trey Flowers.
