Co-defendant in sex abuse case allegedly received money from coach

Good Morning!

Here's what we're working on in the WAFF 48 Newsroom:

Today we hope to find out what happened when a man involved in a stand off in Muscle Shoals went to an area medical facility in the hours before a shooting.  It all began Wednesday morning in Muscle Shoals.

Family members say Reagan Jones went to a local facility for help, but was turned away.  When his sister tried to help him, police say he shot her.  Jones then began a stand off with police at the Arbor Village Apartments.

Plus, The case against a Huntsville woman accused alongside a Guntersville soccer coach facing human trafficking charges, is going to a grand jury.

Kristian Griffin appeared in court as prosecutors laid out their case against her and David Barrow.  Griffin is accused of delivering two children , under 12 , to the Guntersville Girls soccer.  Investigators say she told the victims, they were going to take modeling pictures.  Instead, both of the girls told investigators Barrow sexually abused them.

These stories are just a few that we're following this morning.  Stop in and join us before heading out today.

Have a wonderful day!
