Two Savannah intersections closed due to flooding

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Savannah-Chatham Metro Police say they have been forced to close two intersections in West Savannah because of remaining storm water from Sunday night's rains. 

Stiles Avenue at Gwinnett Street and Louisville Road at Rothwell Street remain flooded. Vehicles are having to be pulled away, according to SCMPD.  

Drivers are advised to avoid the area if at all possible. Delays can be expected in these areas.

We will continue to follow road conditions and update you with any new information as soon as it is known.

    Three adult males and one juvenile were arrested in Limestone County on Thursday after a four-hour manhunt and charged with multiple counts stemming from a string of vehicle thefts.Three adult males and one juvenile were arrested in Limestone County on Thursday after a four-hour manhunt and charged with multiple counts stemming from a string of vehicle thefts.

    A ground search ensued that lasted about four hours and covered approximately six miles, ending a few hundred yards east of Hays Mill Road where the suspects were caught in a hunting stand/shoot house.
