Heavy rain leaves the city drenched

SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Flash flooding happened all over Savannah this evening after a thunderstorm drenched the city.

Several roads were left unpassable, with the east side of the city being hit the hardest. Anderson Street was closed at Waters Avenue. Cars could barely travel down Victory Drive.

Many neighborhood streets were left completely underwater.
