UAH shooter appeals conviction for third time

Good Wednesday evening and Happy Hump Day.

Convicted UAH shooter Amy Bishop-Anderson is apparently hoping the third time is the charm. The former biology professor is once again appealing her 2011 conviction on murder and attempted murder charges for shooting and killing three of her colleagues, and wounding three others. Vincent Crivelli sat down with two of her victims who survived the shooting.

We are also trying to help Huntsville police track down three dangerous people who robbed a local bank. More on the recent armed robbery of the First Jackson Bank in the Hampton Cove community, and your chance to earn up to a thousand bucks with your anonymous tips in our Huntsville Area Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week.

And in a WAFF 48 Investigation, Sarah Navoy will examine something known as the Red Zone. The first few months of college bring an added danger of sexual violence. Sarah will explore the statistics and also talk to experts about how to avoid becoming a statistic.

We hope you will join us for these stories and more at 10.
