MUSCLE SHOALS, AL (WAFF) -

Police want help in finding a man wanted for rape.

Investigators in Muscle Shoals hope someone remembers seeing something suspicious in the area of Ford Street Monday night and their clues will help solve this case.

They said a 21-year-old woman was walking home from Walmart when she was attacked. The victim claims a man pulled up from behind her, asked if she had dropped something, and when she turned around, he hit her.

Police said the woman was then pushed into the man's car, where she was raped.

Investigators say the victim had visible injuries to her head and lip. The victim said her attacker threatened her with a pistol if she reported what happened.

Police said the man is believed to be in a four-door dark midsize vehicle with tears in the headliner on the inside.

If you have any information on this cass-- you're asked to call the Muscle Shoals Police Department.
