Man sets girlfriend on fire

Good Morning!

Here's what we're working on the WAFF newsroom:

Jefferson County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for a man suspected of lighting a woman on fire, and they believe he may be in Huntsville.

Deputies say Michael Kennedy set his ex-girlfriend on fire during an argument yesterday.  They found her with extensive burns in a home on Nellie Anderson Street. This morning, she's in serious condition.

Police say she and Michael Kennedy dated for three years but broke up a month ago.  They believe the two argued before Kennedy poured gasoline on her and set her on fire.  Deputies say Kennedy has a Huntsville address on his state issued I.D, and the woman's family says he has family in the Huntsville area.
