Family reaction to arrest in 5-year-old cold case

There has been a lot developing this Wednesday evening. Here is a look at what is on tap at 10.

Madison County investigators now have a suspect for a murder in New Market five years ago. Investigators say Clarence Fearn shot and killed his stepfather George Woodard Jr. in his own driveway. Since the crime in 2009, investigators have kept tabs on people who knew the suspect and the victim… and anyone who might have any information. Sarah Navoy spoke to the sister of the victim.

We are following the case of a Shoals church which is now officially being blamed for child molesting by its former children's pastor. Jeff Eddie pleaded guilty to 16 counts of sodomy, 3 counts of sex abuse of a child and one count of child porn back in March. He was sentenced to 30 years in prison. Now the victim has filed a federal lawsuit. The suit targets Eddie, Highland Park Baptist Church and the Loving the Shoals United Appeal fund,

And we are checking in with a woman who is launching her own campaign to save Huntsville’s legendary Kildare Mansion. The owner had hoped to restore it but after the city revoked his permits to build a fence around the property, he says it would be a better deal to just tear the house down and sell off the parts. We’ll hear from him, and from a woman who’s hoping to save this historic gem.

We hope you will join us at 10.
