Florence police arrested two men from Georgia on drug trafficking charges over the weekend.
An officer pulled over the pair for a traffic stop on Highway 72. When he approached the vehicle, he noticed the driver moving something in the floorboard with his feet.
A K9 unit was called to the scene and the K9 detected drugs in the vehicle.
Officers discovered a container full of ICE, a form of methamphetamine, wrapped in a shirt. Inside the dish was 11 ounces of ICE.
Investigators said one of the occupants of the vehicle ran from officers. They caught him after a brief foot chase and officers used a stun gun on him.
Police arrested 27-year-old Chaney Tyler Hankins and 23-year-old Bruce Edward Howard, both of Georgia.
They were charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
