MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Madison County sheriff's deputies are on the hunt for the people who stole school landscaping equipment.

Authorities said someone stole three lawn mowers from Central Middle School. The mowers were stolen sometime after 11 a.m. Saturday.

The items missing are two Hustler 72 inch zero turn riding mowers and one cub cadet riding lawn mower with an attached trailer. They were stored at the ballpark and used to maintain the ball fields at the school.

Witnesses reported seeing a gold Honda Odyssey van and an older model black Ford F-150 in the area at the time of the theft. If you have any information about this crime, you’re asked to the call Madison County Sheriff's Department.
