MADISON, AL (WAFF) - Emergency crews responded to the scene of a construction site collapse in downtown Madison on Friday afternoon.
Police report minor injuries with no entrapment.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. at 16 Main Street where construction crews were framing a building. At least two people were taken to the hospital.
A person at the construction site said after they got a shipment of plywood, the building shifted and collapsed.
A piece of wood went through the window of a neighboring salon. No one was injured at that business.
