HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Thousands of hungry people converged on Downtown Huntsville, ready to order up tons of tasty treats and tidbits at Thursday night's food truck event.

This month's event was on Church Street between Clinton Avenue and Williams Avenue, with vendors lined up from corner to corner offering up sweet and savory creations. More than 20 trucks participated in the event.

Church Street was closed to traffic and is expected to re-open by midnight. City and BB&T parking garages are still accessible, as well as the Huntsville Utilities parking lot. Drivers are asked to use other routes to navigate through downtown during these hours.

The theme of this month's event was "Beach Food." If you have photos and videos of the grub you grabbed, send those shots to pix@waff.com! You can also tweet or Facebook your photos. Remember to tell us what you thought of each dish - the Tennessee Valley is always hungry for what Huntsville has to offer!
