Mom faces charges after infant tests positive for alcohol

Today, the Huntsville City School Board will discuss the future of two vacant schools. Stone Middle and West Huntsville Elementary have been empty for about five years, and now the school system may have a buyer.
In Russellville, a mother is accused of giving her 5 week old baby alcohol.
Police arrested Katherine Putman yesterday and charged her with Domestic Violence. Doctors and nurses at Russellville Hospital noticed the baby smelled like alcohol, so police did a breathalyzer test. It showed the infant had an alcohol level of .283.
Investigators say Putman mixed what she thought was water with her child's cereal. but police say it was vodka. http://bit.ly/1rtevJP
