Russellville business owner subdues burglary suspect

RUSSELLVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Police in Russellville arrested a man on theft and burglary charges Monday.

Officers responded to a 911-hangup call at a business on the 200 block of Carroll Avenue around 11 p.m.

When they arrived, the business owner had detained a suspect. Several items had been taken, but were recovered and returned to the owner.

Timothy Boyd Wilson Jr. was arrested and charged with third-degree burglary and three counts of first-degree theft. He is also charged with unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle.
