Crews monitor lightning-caused wildfire south of WS Mountain

SPRINGERVILLE, AZ (CBS5) -

Forest officials say smoke from a wildfire south of WS Mountain may be visible from U.S. Highway 180.

Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest officials said lightning started the Magnet Fire within the Blue Primitive Area located on the Clifton Ranger District on July 5 and it is now at 28 acres.

Forest officials said because of the small size and the weather conditions, they're letting the fire burn itself out and are monitoring by air.
