Arrest made in Madison home break-ins

MADISON, AL (WAFF) -

Police arrested a man in connection with residential burglaries in Madison. 

Investigators said the burglaries happened at two homes in the area of Oak Street and Mill Road. Detectives said they recovered the stolen property at nearby pawn shops. 

Stephen Land, 38, of Madison, was arrested and charged with two counts of third-degree burglary, one count of first-degree theft and one count of third-degree theft. 

He was booked into the Madison County Jail on $38,000 bond.
