5 injured in I-565 wreck

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - Five people were taken to the hospital following a multiple-vehicle wreck on I-565 Friday morning. 

It happened around 6:30 a.m. on I-565 in the area of Mooresville Road. One of the vehicles involved in the wreck flipped. 

Authorities said none of the injuries in the crash were life-threatening.

Traffic in the area was blocked while crews worked to clear the scene.
