Apartment fire injures three, damages multiple units in Cullman

CULLMAN, AL (WBRC) -

Police and fire agencies in Cullman responded to an early morning apartment fire Friday morning.

According to investigators, two units caught fire at the Oak Ridge Apartments on Donauer Drive. The property manager said the fire started around 2:15 a.m.

Three people were injured in the blaze. One person suffered burns and was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham. Two others were treated locally for smoke inhalation.

Officials say sixteen units, total, were affected.

The cause of the fire has not yet been identified.
