HARTSELLE, AL (WAFF) -

Morgan County drug agents seized thousands of dollars from a home along Highway 31 in Hartselle on Wednesday.

Along with the cash, agents found guns, cars, motorcycles, a lawn mower - and a stronger form of methamphetamine that investigators are seeing more of in the area.

Steven Kilpatric and Patricia Lewis face seven felony charges each, including trafficking meth, trafficking opiates and manufacturing meth.

The arrests are the result of a three-month undercover investigation conducted by the Madison-Morgan STAC Team and the Morgan County Drug Task Force. Agents found meth, pills, pot, guns, and approximately $10,000 in cash.

Agents seized several vehicles, including a vintage Ford Mustang. Sheriff Ana Franklin said they were making and selling what is called Red Phosphorous meth - 30 percent stronger than typical meth, and much more combustible during the manufacturing process.

Sheriff Franklin said the investigation is ongoing, and more charges and arrests are possible.
