Nashville, Tenn. (July 7, 2014) – In early August, the Nashville Predators will host its popular try-hockey-for-free program, G.O.A.L!, in Huntsville, Alabama. Online registration is now open and can be accessed exclusively at nashvillepredators.com/goal. Space is limited.

This session is a one-day, try-hockey-for-free clinic for kids ages 5-8, and takes places on Friday, August 1 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the Huntsville Ice Complex (3185 Leeman Ferry Road, Huntsville, AL 35801), a non-profit facility serving the ice skating community in North Alabama (iceskate.org). Full hockey equipment, including skate rental, is provided free of charge.

ABOUT G.O.A.L!

G.O.A.L! is a free, on-ice youth hockey program hosted by the Nashville Predators multiple times throughout the year in association with local ice rinks.  Designed for boys and girls ages 5-8 with no prior skating or hockey experience, the program introduces the sport of ice hockey to kids while teaching the life experiences of teamwork, sportsmanship and self-confidence through athletic participation.
