Tornado damaged school to reopen in August

LINCOLN COUNTY, TN (WAFF) - After storm damage repairs at South Lincoln School in, classes will begin in August.

The school system will delay opening one week. 

The first full day for students will be August 18. 

Tornadoes in Lincoln County in April heavily damaged South Lincoln Elementary School. Rain impeded construction work this summer and delayed the reopening by a week.

Students had to be relocated for the last three weeks of school.
