Valley Firefighters Are Busy This Morning - WAFF-TV: News, Weather and Sports for Huntsville, AL

Valley Firefighters Are Busy This Morning

Valley firefighters have been busy overnight. One was in Lawrence County overnight. It destroyed a home on County Road 372 in Hillsboro. No one was hurt. We have plenty of video from the scene. Look for that at the top of the hour.

And right now, firefighters are at a home on Ball Park Road in Union Grove, Marshall County. We'll  bring you updates as soon as they come in on WAFF 48 News Today.

Do you remember the woman who's accused of stealing a police cruiser and causing a crash that killed a man in Fayetteville, Tennessee last year? She's back in court today. Lauren Morrison will get you caught up on Misty Shelton's case.

District 5 Congressman Mo Brooks now has a challenger in November. We'll introduce you to Mark Bray. See where he agrees with Brooks and what he would rather change.

And the weather's getting ready to change, but you can probably already feel that. http://bit.ly/GSwBfq  It's muggy out there this morning. Meteorologist Lauren Jones is checking when you may see some rain in your neighborhood.

That's a snippet of what we have for you this morning. Join us to see what else is going on.
And have a great Tuesday!
