FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -  Florence hospital officials plan for the future as a massive construction project is poised to begin.

The company that owns Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital plans to build a new $250-million facility.

City officials want input from people who will be impacted by ECM’s move from its current location. A special committee will hold a meeting July 14 to get idea for use of the current facility.

Next week’s meeting will be held in the fellowship hall of First Presbyterian Church on Tennessee Street.
