Harbor Village Florida comments on art gallery spreading the word on drug addiction and recovery.
USA (PRWEB) July 03, 2014
As reported by the Reno Gazette Journal in the article Recovery and Addiction Displayed in Public Art Project (6/28), a new art gallery called Doors to Recovery is currently on display to help raise awareness of drug addiction and the many benefits of recovery. The project is sponsored by a group called Transforming Youth Recovery, which is headed by a woman who lost her son to addiction. The art gallery features doors that are painted with various images, descriptions, and colors that help remind people about the beauty of sobriety. Many of the artists who are contributing to the project have either recovered from an addiction themselves or experienced it with a loved one. The Transforming Youth Recovery group believes that art can help bring people together and relate to the effects of substance abuse.
One of the doors displayed in the exhibit depicts the process of a butterfly growing from small to big. Addiction recovery is a lengthy process that requires hard work, commitment, and focus. Oftentimes, the first step to recovery is to undergo a detoxification process, in which doctors help you completely eliminate a drug from your body. Although the road to recovery can be hard and challenging, the end-result can be valued for a lifetime. Substance abuse often takes the light out of the lives of many people, thus leaving them unable to do great things in life. However, it is never too late to take back control.
At Harbor Village, a trained team of medical professionals help clients achieve recovery from both alcohol and drugs addiction. Located in South Florida, the facility allows each client to experience detoxification in a luxury, state-of-the art environment. Clients are welcomed with upscale accommodations including a beautifully furnished suite with satellite television, over an acre of outdoor lounge area, spa, salon, massage and acupuncture services, nutritious, gourmet dining and the personalized support of a friendly, knowledgeable staff.
Drug dependency can quickly turn you into a less responsible person on a course for destruction. Your solution? Check into a detox center such as Harbor Village, said Robert Niznik, Harbor Village CEO.
