PHILADELPHIA (KYW/CNN) – Police made a gruesome discovery in a home in Philadelphia, where investigators found the body of an 83-year-old woman inside a freezer in the basement.
Police say the freezer had been in the basement since January.
The unidentified woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Now investigators are looking for the woman’s son for questioning.
Tea Ramos says she is the victim’s estranged daughter-in-law. Ramos says that her daughter spoke with the victim’s son.
“She said her daughter Cynthia received a phone call from William saying that he made a big mistake. He did something really bad, and the daughter questioned him and said 'What'd you do?,' and he said, 'My mother fell and she died instantly and I put her in the freezer in the basement,” Ramos said.
So far, there have been no arrests made in the case.
