Officials identify woman killed, husband injured in boating accident

LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (WAFB) -

Officials with State Wildlife and Fisheries have identified a woman who was killed and her husband who was injured in a boating accident Tuesday evening.

The woman is 59-year-old Deborah Ledoux and 58-year-old Richard Ledoux of Livingston.

The accident happened near Pete's Landing in Livingston Parish. Investigators believe the boat may have hit a tree, but the accident is still under investigation.

The husband was airlifted to a hospital. Officials say his injuries are not life-threatening.
