5 arrested in Limestone Co. meth bust

LIMESTONE COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Authorities arrested several people following a meth bust Monday in Limestone County.

Investigators responded to a residence on the 19000 block of Cox Road after receiving a tip about a possible meth lab. Agents said they could smell the odor of a meth lab as they walked toward the residence.

During a search, authorities found a partial meth lab on a table in the garage, finished meth, guns, scales and other drug paraphernalia.

William Forrester Ellison, Beth Alyson Shaw, Amanda Kay Knighten, and Linda Elizabeth Holman were arrested and charged with manufacturing, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Bond for each of the five suspects is set at $56,000 each.
