In lieu of the recent death of a toddler left in a hot car, a young man's "baby-saving" invention has gone viral.
Twelve-year-old Andrew Pelham created the EZ Baby Saver to prevent children from being left in hot cars.
The invention is a bright neon strap that latches on behind the driver's seat and reaches to the driver's door. It stops parents from getting out of the car before making sure no one is strapped in the back seat.
Pelham gives instructions to make your own EZ Baby Saver on his website.
