HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

University of Alabama Huntsville women's basketball coach Roy Heintz announced he accepted a rather chilly challenge from a colleague – for a good cause.

As part of the #Chillin4Charity fundraising event, Heintz had 10 gallons of ice water poured on him Thursday afternoon outside of Spragins Hall.

Heintz "paid it forward" by issuing a challenge to other coaches just before he was doused by the cold, and evidently invigorating, water.

"Chillin' 4 Charity" benefits the Kay Yow Cancer Fund. Coaches and student athletes from across the country are challenging each other to participate or donate to the fund.
