WAFF 60th Anniversary celebration on July 4th

It's time for food, friends, family and fun as we celebrate Independence Day and WAFF 48's 60th anniversary. You can enjoy fireworks shows at the following locations on July 4:

Florence

Spirit of Freedom Celebration, McFarland Park - "Big Jake" the mechanical bull is raring' to take you and your family on a ride at the 33rd annual gathering. Bring your lawn chairs and celebrate on the banks of the Tennessee River. Dale Watson headlines your musical entertainment. Runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Guntersville

Civitan Park Celebrates the 4th - Fireworks are set to begin at 9 p.m. and last for approximately 30 minutes.

Huntsville

U.S. Space & Rocket Center hosts the city's largest fireworks display from 6-10 p.m. The whole family is invited to enjoy great food, patriotic entertainment and the breathtaking end-of-night fireworks show, which begins at 9 p.m.
