Funeral arrangements set for teen hit by vehicle

MORGAN COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

Funeral arrangements have been set for the 15-year-old Danville student struck and killed by a vehicle on Tuesday.

Authorities said Austin Cook was on his way to football training when he was hit by a vehicle on Danville Road. According to investigators, no charges have been filed against the driver involved in the wreck.

Cook was an incoming freshman at Danville High School.

Funeral arrangements for Cook are set for 11 a.m. Friday at Peck Funeral Home. Visitation will be from Thursday 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. also at the funeral home.
