Prosecutors not seeking death penalty against Madison County woman

MADISON COUNTY, AL (WAFF) -

State prosecutors will not seek the death penalty against Madison County resident Lisa Perry, accused of killing a man a year and a half ago.

Perry was charged with capital murder in the death of her uncle William Floyd Ivy. 

Police found Ivy's body in an apartment on Bob Wallace Avenue in Dec. 2012. 

Perry is being held in the Madison County Jail without bond. Her trial is set for next April.
