Out of state sex offender arrested in Albertville

Albertville Police were informed over the weekend that a sex offender from Coffee County, Tennessee relocated to Albertville.

The offender did not notify authorities in Tennessee nor Alabama before moving. 

On Sunday morning, Albertville Police and Sheriff's Deputies found Jefferey Scott Hosch Sr., 46, at a home in Albertville.

Hosch was booked in the Marshall County Jail and charged with violation of requirements, violation of travel restrictions, violation of identification, residing in prohibited location, failure to establish residence, failure of two time felon to register with sheriff, possession of altered firearm, violent felon in possession of pistol and eluding police. 

He has no bond at this time. Hosch is also wanted in Coffee County Tennessee on related charges. He is classified by the State of Tennessee as a "Violent Sex Offender." 

Tennessee officials and Albertville officials worked together to remove Hosch from the streets of Marshall County.
