DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

The man charged with a Decatur shooting that left the victim paralyzed waived his preliminary hearing.

The case against Jeffrey Williams will next go before a Morgan County grand jury.

Williams was accused of shooting Cortes Randolph outside a barbershop on Danville Road three weeks ago. Randolph was shot in the chest.

Williams won't be getting out of jail on bond because his bond was revoked. Investigators said this happened because while Williams was free on bond on the assault charge, he sold crack cocaine to undercover officers.
