Guntersville man reports he was not kidnapped

ALBERTVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A man who was reported as kidnapped after a home invasion changed his story, and police are still searching for a third person involved.

Albertville Police located Steven Moore of Guntersville Thursday night. However, he said he was not kidnapped.

Officers are still searching for the third person involved in the invasion at a home on Highland Avenue on Thursday. That's when officers said the trio robbed everyone inside, then took off with Moore.

Police said they were very concerned for his safety. Police found him safe around 8 p.m. that night.
