Chance of showers remains in forecast through weekend

Posted: Updated:
CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) -

WBTV Meteorologist Al Conklin says the weather pattern won't change much over the next couple of days.

In advance of a weak cold front scheduled to cross the region this weekend, the humidity level will stay on the sticky side and highs will remain in the 90s.

While thunderstorms are possible again on Friday, they are more likely Saturday with that front in the neighborhood.

Behind the front, chances for rain and afternoon temperatures take a little bit of a hit, a 30 percent chance Sunday through Tuesday with seasonal highs in the upper 80s.
