HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

An intense search continued Thursday for the person who gunned down a teenager at a Huntsville gas station.

A memorial for 18-year-old Ashia Oliver has been placed in front of the Sunoco station at Pulaski Pike and Mastin Lake Road. Authorities said the shooter or shooters wounded two other people.

Huntsville police were contacted multiple times to try to uncover more information about the triple shooting and murder. Specifically, we have asked how many shots HPD believes the shooter or shooters fired at the gas station.

WAFF obtained security video from inside the gas station after the shooting. Huntsville investigators asked to review that footage to assist in the investigation.

Wednesday, police said several girls fought over the last few days, and a crowd of about 100 people gathered at the gas station to see if the girls would fight again.

Police said the murder victim was not involved in the fighting.

A viewer submitted footage posted to Facebook that shows two women fighting at a gas station that is believed to be connected to the murder. Sources with direct knowledge of the event said the video was captured minutes before someone shot into a crowd, killing Oliver.

The video obtained is from the Wavaho gas station off Meridian Street and Winchester Road. It is timestamped on Facebook around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday. It shows a large group gathered around two women fighting next to the gas pumps.

A Wavaho employee confirmed they did have a fight at the station. A Sunoco employee confirmed the crowd then came over to his station minutes later.

Huntsville police confirmed that video is also in the hands of investigators. Police were asked if they knew of other locations where the girls fought, but police said they are not going to release that or any other information about their investigation.

Residents in the vicinity of these fights and the resulting shooting said the murder is all anyone has talked about. They want to know who did it, why, and above all else, they want the violence to stop.

Royal Funeral Home confirmed Thursday they will handle the funeral arrangements for Ashia Oliver. Those arrangements have not yet been set.

Investigators continue to ask those with information about the fights and the fatal shooting to please call the Huntsville Police Department.
