DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A Morgan County man convicted for murdering two Krystal employees in 2011 appeared in court Thursday.

Jordaan Creque was previously scheduled to be in court for a motion on a new trial a week ago but the hearing had to be postponed because of a court mix-up. On Thursday, a judge denied the motion for a new trial.

Creque was sentenced to death in 2013 for the murders of Jeff Graff and Jessie Aguilar during an armed robbery at a Krystal restaurant in Decatur.
