HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

Two people are wanted for showing up late at a Huntsville restaurant. So late, in fact, that the restaurant was closed.

And they weren't after food, they were after cash.

The crime happened inside the Beauregard's Restaurant on Jordan Lane May 25.

The two threw a concrete block through the front door to get inside.

Police say one was wearing a hoodie, the other a towel.

But once they were inside, they seemed to lower their guard when it comes to hiding their faces. The one who had the towel on took it off. The other wearing the hoodie wasn't really concealing his face either.

That's good news for us - bad news for them.

Police say they tried to break into the safe, but ended up stealing a cash box.

Something tells me they didn't realize just how good that surveillance camera is.

Hopefully they'll find out the hard way, with your help.

Do you know who they are? Your tips could lead to some serious cash to use for several nights at your favorite restaurant: $1,000.
