Funeral arrangements have been set for 18-year-old Isaac Linzer, the teen who drowned in Franklin County over the weekend.

According to his obituary, Linzer's visitation will be on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at Nichols Funeral Home in Double Springs. Services will also be held there on Thursday at 10 a.m.

Linzer drowned in the Bates Landing area on Sunday afternoon. Searchers worked to find him until 10 p.m. Sunday before returning around 9 a.m. on Monday. His body was recovered Monday afternoon.

Franklin County Sheriff Shannon Oliver said Linzer was with his family when he dove from a rock into the water. His family members reported seeing the teen resurface briefly before going back under.

Linzer, according to his obituary, graduated from Winston County High School earlier this year and enlisted in the United State Navy.
