HUNTSVILLE, AL (WAFF) -

A former UAH student was arrested on burglary and sex abuse charges after police say he gained access to student housing and fondled a man's buttocks.

According to UAH police documents, Magid Mukiibi Musisi Jr. crawled through a window at the Sigma Nu fraternity house early in the morning of June 15.

The house is equipped with a surveillance system, and it caught the suspect creeping around the house for about three hours and watching the residents sleep.

When one of the men in the house woke up to find Musisi in his room, the suspect left the house and went to Southeast Campus Housing. There, he went into a second victim's bedroom and "fondled the victim's buttocks, which woke the victim."

Police said Musisi was also kicked out of Alpha Tau Omega House after he was seen there.

Musisi was arrested and charged with two counts of second degree burglary and one count of first degree sex abuse. Officers said he confessed to everything and said he had been drinking.

Members at Sigma Nu said doors are always locked and police constantly patrol the area, but the guy was obviously determined. Fraternity members said they are glad they caught the man on camera.

"It's a dangerous world out there," said student Austin Finley. "First time I've heard of anything like this. It's just weird. It freaks me out... We took all the steps we could have taken and he still found a way in."

Musisi was last enrolled at UAH in December, 2013 and if he returns to campus to take more classes, he will have to face a student review board.

He is in the Madison County Jail, charged with two counts of burglary and sex abuse. Bond is set at $42,000.

According to the FBI, there were an average of 3,460 sexual offenses every year on college campuses between 2005 and 2008. Other crimes, such as burglary, robbery and assault, were more common.
