An Albertville man was charged after officers discovered a meth lab in his car during a traffic stop.

Police say 57-year-old Thomas Ray Reno was charged with unlawful manufacture of a controlled substance. Albertville police stopped Reno for a traffic violation on Highway 431 near Martling Road.

After officers determined two of Reno's passengers had warrants, they searched the vehicle and found a one-pot meth lab.

Reno was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail on $20,000 bond.
