DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur police arrested a woman in connection with a burglary.

Decatur police responded to a burglary on the 200 block of 10th Avenue NW on June 6. Officers said they believed Lolita Amerson was responsible for the crime.

An officer said he detained Amerson a short time later. Police said a concerned citizen told them he had just seen Amerson with the stolen property, and the items were recovered.
