DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

A convicted double-murderer's fight for a new trial is on hold after a mix-up in a transfer order.

Jordaan Creque had been scheduled for a hearing Friday morning on his motion for a new trial.

The hearing had to be pushed back to June 19 after the mix-up meant Creque wasn't transported to Decatur from Holman Correctional Facility.

Creque was convicted and sentenced to death last October for the murders of August 2011 murders of Jeff Graff and Jessie Aguilar in 2011 at a Krystal restaurant in Decatur.
