2 charged with meth possession in Decatur

DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Two people are in jail after Decatur police found meth during a traffic stop on Tuesday.

Decatur police reported they stopped a driver they knew had a revoked license at the corner of Sandlin Road and Courtney Drive.

Police said the driver was identified as Corey Hart and the passenger was identified as April Hart. Investigators with the organized crime unit said they responded and found an amount of meth "ice," digital scales and plastic baggies.

Both were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Corey Hart was also charged with driving while revoked.

They were taken to the Morgan County Jail. Corey Hart's bond was set at $3,500, and April Hart's was set at $3,000.
