DECATUR, AL (WAFF) -

Decatur Utilities reported that high winds caused power outages in their service area Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Utilities said they began receiving calls around 9 p.m. They said about 200 customers were affected by fourteen small outages, the largest affecting 53 customers around Larkwood Drive and Flicker Road.

Utility crews restored power to most customers by 4 a.m., but they said 10 customers on Enolam Boulevard SE were still without power at 7 a.m. while crews removed a large tree that fell. Those customers should have power back Tuesday morning.
