Seeing double? 5 set of twins graduate at Petersburg HS

PETERSBURG, VA (WWBT) -
Five sets of twins are graduating in the Petersburg High School class of 2014.

17-year-old Jordan Costley has a 4.0 or better GPA. He received and accepted a $100,000 scholarship to the Virginia Military Institute. Justin Costley has a 3.0 or better GPA. He plans on attending Ferrum College.

18-year-old Khaila Ellis is the class salutatorian and has a 4.0 or better GPA. She will be attending Virginia Tech. Shaila Ellis has a 3.0 or better GPA and will be attending Richard Bland College.

18 –year-old Aundrey Fitzgerald has a 4.0 or better GPA and will attend Howard University. Shundrey Fitzgerald has a 3.0 or better GPA and will attend Shaw University in the fall.

18-year-old Nuguel Grant plans on pursuing a career in the security profession, while Nyll Grant plans on a pursuing a career in the medical profession.

17-year-old Levy Jones is interested in attending college this fall. Lonzie Jones is looking forward to entering the workforce upon graduation.

    A woman has died, after police say she was struck by a van in Richmond. Police say the woman was walking across the 1100 block of Azalea Avenue around 3 p.m. Saturday, when she was struck by a van turning left off Seminary Avenue. The driver of that van stayed on the scene. Police say the woman was already dead when they got to the scene. The driver is not facing charges at this time. The investigation continues, as police work to notify the victim's family.
