Domestic violence suspect arrested in Auburn

AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Auburn Police Division have arrested Lance W. Cattage in a domestic violence case on Thursday.

Police responded to a call of domestic violence at a residence in the 2700 block of Lee Road 12 late Wednesday night.

A 21 year old female told police that Cattage forced his way into her home, physically assaulted her and made her leave with him in his vehicle against her will. Shortly after being forced to leave Cattage wrecked the vehicle, allowing the victim to escape and call police.Cattage left the vehicle and fled the scene.

Officers found a discarded firearm close to the wreckage.

Police say Cattage turned himself in, where he was charged with Burglary Second Degree, Domestic Violence Second Degree, Kidnapping Second Degree, and Possession of an Altered Firearm.
